Our perched hillside villages are one of the most distinctive traits of the Provençal countryside. Buis les Baronnies

Mollans sur Ouvèze

• Feudal Castle.
• Dauphins Fountain (1713).
• Notre Dame de la Compassion Chapel (early 18th century).
• Chauvet olive-mill - free entry with commentary, shop.
La Roche sur le Buis

• J.F.Layraud Museum: agriculture, local arts and traditions.

Lovely walk to the country chapel of Saint-Jean-Baptiste (with frescoes) on a peak.

English-speaking guide on Wednesday afternoons.

Aulan

Château des Suarez d’Aulan - 1635, restored in the 19th century, open for visits.

In April, May, June, September - guided tour every day at 3pm. (Groups should book, the rest of the year too.)
In July and August, visits from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
Sundays: from 2pm to 6.30pm.
